Punjab Launches Model-farm Scheme To Boost Sesame Exports and Cut Edible-oil Imports
Punjab Agriculture Department has invited applications from farmers for a province-wide initiative focusing on:
- Increasing sesame production and exports
- Reducing dependence on imported soybean and canola
This program aims to establish 211 model farms with financial assistance of Rs30,000 each. It seeks to demonstrate modern production technology and encourage improved cultivation practices for enhanced oilseed productivity.

- Bahawalpur

- Okara
- Attock
- Rahim Yar Khan
- Kasur
- Chakwal
- Sahiwal
