Seerat Conference Held at Alhamra to Highlight Teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH)

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Aug, 2026) A Seerat Conference 2026 was held at Alhamra Cultural Complex, Gaddafi Stadium, here on Sunday to commemorate Rabi-ul-Awal and highlight the teachings, character, and universal message of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The conference was jointly organized by the Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra), Growth Ventures, and Global Media Communication, and attended by prominent religious scholars, writers, poets, Naat reciters, artists, public representatives, and people from diverse walks of life.
Program Highlights:
- Recitation of the Holy Quran
- Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) by Shehzad Roshan Gilani
- Naat and speech competitions showcasing participants' skills.
- A special panel discussion titled "Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) and the Contemporary World" moderated by Haneen Zaidi. Participants included Pir Tariq Sharifzada, Syed Ejaz Bukhari, Hafiz Muhammad Usman, and Mufti Muhammad Ahmed Shahbaz.
- Emphasis on the relevance of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings in today’s world and the need to translate them into practical actions.
