September 27 Long March: A Public Referendum Against Unconstitutional Governance

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shafi Jan has stated that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi's actions have kept the "fake Form 47 rulers" on edge, as the street movement led by Afridi continues despite oppression and coercion.
Jan emphasizes that the upcoming September 27 long march will serve as a public referendum against the current unconstitutional, undemocratic, and authoritarian governance. He criticizes the Punjab government's tactics during the street protests, including arrests of workers, electricity cuts, and business center closures, which he considers illegal actions exemplifying fascism and political victimization.
According to Jan, the people of Lahore and Sialkot have shown their support for Imran Khan by confronting police action on the streets, solidifying their stance against the government's measures. He concludes that the September 27 long march will mark a new chapter in peaceful political struggle across Punjab and the nation, aiming for Imran Khan's release, the restoration of the public mandate, and the supremacy of the Constitution and law.
