SP To CM Reviews Development, Administrative Matters
SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 23, 2026) Special Assistant to Chief Minister (CM) Punjab for Inspection Teams, Shoaib Mirza, chaired a meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office here on Sunday to review development projects and administrative affairs in the district.
Attending the meeting were:
- Deputy Commissioner (DC), Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry
- Additional Deputy Commissioners
- Officials from WASA, Buildings, Highways, Municipal Corporation, District Council, Punjab Saaf Pani Authority, Suthra Punjab, and other departments
(Assistant Commissioners participated via video link).
The meeting was informed that development works were underway in 18 villages of the district under the Chief Minister Punjab’s Model Villages Program at a cost of Rs. 2.14 billion. Officials provided detailed updates on progress in each village.
Shoaib Mirza directed officials:
- To ensure high-quality materials be used in development projects.
- To personally inspect schemes in the field, rather than limiting themselves to offices.
- To visit each village regularly and take strict action against those responsible for substandard work or material.
- To refer cases to the Anti-Corruption Establishment or police when necessary.
