Technological Usage Crucial For Responsive Justice System: Chief Justice Federal Sharia Court
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Aug, 2026) Chief Justice of the Federal Sharia Court, Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwar, has stated that effective technology utilization is vital for transitioning to an automated, efficient, and responsive justice system capable of catering to lawyers, litigants, and ordinary citizens.
He expressed these views while inaugurating the newly established e-library at the Federal Sharia Court in Islamabad. The Chief Justice acknowledged the efforts of officers involved in creating the e-library and emphasized the significance of digital literacy within the judiciary. He noted that the court has adopted the e-office system, featuring a Live Dashboard and e-kiosk, to further digitize court proceedings.
Additionally, the Federal Sharia Court is considering digitizing its library collection and other books by making them accessible on its official website in the near future.
