Pakistan Strongly Rejects Allegations Made by Indian Home Minister

Pakistan strongly rejects allegations by India’s Home Minister seeking to link Pakistan to certain arrests made in India, describing the claims as baseless and part of a broader campaign to divert attention from India’s domestic security challenges.

Tahir Andrabi, Foreign Office Spokesperson, responded to media queries regarding the allegations, stating:

“Such propaganda is yet another demonstration of India’s malicious campaign against Pakistan to divert attention from its domestic security challenges and to blame Pakistan for narrow domestic political gains.”

Andrabi further accused India of suppressing dissent and minorities domestically while alleging that New Delhi was involved in supporting terrorist activities and destabilisation efforts abroad. He noted:

“At home, India is a repressive state, brutally oppressing its minorities and silencing dissent. Externally, India is exporting terror and abetting terrorists.”

The spokesperson maintained that what he called unfounded Indian allegations could not divert international attention from Pakistan’s accusations against India, including claims of state-sponsored terrorism, targeted assassinations, and attempts to undermine stability in other countries. He cited the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav, a former Indian naval officer arrested by Pakistan and convicted by a Pakistani military court, as evidence of India’s alleged involvement in what Pakistan describes as subversive and terrorist activities.

Andrabi concluded by calling on the international community to reject what Pakistan terms baseless allegations by India and to hold New Delhi accountable for alleged state-sponsored terrorism in the region.
