We Want Imran Khan's Release Through Courts, But Al-Qadir Trust Case Delayed: Shafqat Ayaz
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shafqat Ayaz has expressed concern over the delay in legal proceedings regarding Imran Khan's cases. He stated that while they advocate for Khan's release through the courts, the Al-Qadir Trust case has not been heard for 22 months, and the Toshakhana case has been pending for a year.
Ayaz addressed the media on UrduPoint and emphasized the importance of upholding the court's authority. He announced that on September 27, PTI will take to the streets in a long march to advocate for the rule of law and justice.
He highlighted the economic challenges faced by Pakistan, attributing them to a government with limited seats and the departure of young people from the country. Ayaz also mentioned Mohsin Naqvi's claims of a collapsing system and alleged money laundering of $100 billion.
The leader criticized the government's financial management, noting their reliance on loans and the demand for $10 billion from the United States to stabilize the economy. He further criticized the planned electricity rates and the burden on private banks, stating that the government's policies are not in the public interest.
Ayaz concluded by emphasizing the need for an elected party to come to power through the people and make decisions for their benefit.
