- GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) A woman was killed and another sustained serious injuries when a speeding Mazda truck collided with a passenger rickshaw near Shaheen Chowk on Highway Gujrat.
According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred when the speeding truck hit the rickshaw carrying two women.
As a result, Bushra Sohail, 47, died on the spot, while Shazia Nadeem, 45, sustained serious injuries. Both women were residents of Mohalla Jamna, Gujrat.
Rescue 1122 personnel provided first aid to the injured woman and shifted her to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital for further treatment. After completion of legal formalities by police, the body of the deceased was also shifted to the hospital.
