10 Trucks Loads Relief Goods Dispatched By Sindh Govt Distribured Among Flood Victims

Peshawar, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) As many as 10 trucks loaded with relief supplies sent by the Sindh government for flood-affected families in Chitral were distributed among the victims.

Distribution Process

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society, under the supervision of the District Administration and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, distributed the relief goods. Former provincial president and Federal minister Najmuddin Khan, Provincial Coordination Secretary and former provincial minister Salim Khan, Red Crescent Chairman Farzand Ali Wazir, Divisional President Malik Azmat Khan, former PK-16 candidate Nawabzada Kamran Zaib Khan and Fazal Haq were also present during the distribution.

Meeting with Affected Families

Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha met flood-affected families, listened to their concerns, and reviewed the relief activities. He stated that families affected by the natural disaster urgently needed relief and rehabilitation, adding that the PPP stood with them during this difficult period.

He thanked PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Sindh chief minister, and the Sindh government for sending relief supplies to Chitral. He described the initiative as a positive example of national solidarity and cooperation between provinces.

The PPP provincial president also appreciated the Pakistan Red Crescent Society for facilitating the transportation and distribution of the relief goods, emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts by governments and institutions to ensure timely and effective assistance to disaster-hit communities.
