AC Dera Inspects Sewerage Schemes, Directs Officials To Ensure Quality, Timely Completion
Dera Ismail Khan, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Aug, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Hamid Siddique has directed the concerned officials to ensure quality and timely completion of ongoing sewerage line schemes to facilitate citizens and address drainage-related problems.
During his visit to Muslim Bazaar, Pawanda Bazaar, and Jogianwala Mohalla, accompanied by the Executive Engineer (XEN) and Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Dr. Siddique reviewed the installation of sewerage lines, construction progress, and schemes’ overall advancement. He received a detailed update from officials regarding project timelines and quality standards.
The assistant commissioner emphasized that no compromises should be made on construction work quality and that all activities must adhere to approved designs and technical specifications. He also instructed departments to complete schemes within the allotted timeframes, maintaining continuous supervision of construction sites.
Dr. Siddique noted that timely and high-quality scheme completion will resolve drainage issues and enhance sanitation conditions in the city, underscoring the need for effective supervision to meet prescribed standards.
