ANF Seizes Over 91 Kg Of Drugs In Seven Operations
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted seven operations in various cities, resulting in the arrest of 12 suspects and the recovery of 91.56 kg of drugs, valued at over Rs 14.2 million.
- Islamabad International Airport: 362 grams of ice recovered from a passenger’s luggage en route to Jeddah, with one arrest made.
- Pishin District: 72 kg of hashish seized from a truck near Khanozai, leading to an arrest.
- Peshawar: 10.8 kg of opium discovered in a vehicle near University Road, resulting in three arrests.
- Sukkur: 500 grams of hashish found near Airport Road, with one suspect arrested.
- Lahore: 5.4 kg of heroin recovered from a vehicle near Ravi Toll Plaza, and three suspects detained.
- Jamshoro: 1.3 kg of ice seized from a vehicle near Jamshoro Toll Plaza, with two arrests.
- Islamabad: 1.2 kg of hashish found in the possession of a suspect near Islamabad Toll Plaza.
Cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and investigations are ongoing.
