Attempts To Impede Balochistan Development To Be Foiled At All Costs: President
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday vowed that the attempts by the foreign-sponsored terrorists to obstruct the progress and prosperity of Balochistan would be foiled at all costs.
During a meeting with Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the president expressed confidence that terrorism would soon be completely eradicated from Balochistan.
The President emphasized the importance of effective coordination between federal and provincial governments for maintaining peace, accelerating development, and ensuring public welfare in the province. He noted that as Pakistan’s largest province by area, Balochistan deserved special attention and adequate resources.
