Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain met with Belarusian Ambassador to Pakistan Andrey Mitlisa. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus, particularly focusing on:
- Employment opportunities for Pakistani skilled manpower in Belarus.
- Establishing direct employment mechanisms.
It was agreed to form a joint working group to facilitate the direct employment process for Pakistani workers, address necessary legal issues, expedite the employment process, prevent illegal immigration, and ensure the legal movement of Pakistani workers to Belarus.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain highlighted Pakistan’s vast skilled and semi-skilled workforce across various sectors, emphasizing the government’s commitment to providing better opportunities globally. He also assured the protection of rights and welfare for Pakistani workers.
Ambassador Andrey Mitlisa, appreciative of Pakistan’s cooperation, expressed interest in further enhancing cooperation in the field of manpower and employment.
