BISE Hyderabad Holds Ceremony To Recognize Top-position Students
HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) A ceremony was held at Shahbaz Hall Hyderabad to honor students who secured prominent positions in the annual Matriculation and Intermediate examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Hyderabad.
Commissioner Hyderabad Division Fayaz Hussain Abbasi attended the event, along with Chairman BISE Faqir Muhammad Lakho, Board Secretary Mushraf Rajput, teachers, parents, board officials, and position-holding students.
Addressing the ceremony, Commissioner Abbasi congratulated the position holders, their parents, and teachers, attributing their achievements to hard work, talent, and dedication. He emphasized the collective responsibility of providing encouragement and support to students for their future success.
The Commissioner appreciated the efforts of parents and teachers in motivating students to strive for academic excellence. He noted that these ceremonies play a crucial role in inspiring students to pursue further achievements.
Chairman BISE Faqir Lakho also congratulated the position holders and their parents, highlighting the significance of encouragement in student success. He mentioned that outstanding students were being awarded gold and silver medals, cash prizes, and certificates of appreciation for their academic performance.
According to a handout, Sara Nisar from Tando Allahyar secured the first position in Matriculation Science, while Wajeeullah Khan from Deaf Reach Rashidabad topped the Matriculation General Group. Manahil Khan from Army Public School secured the first position in the Intermediate Pre-Medical Group.
Students placing first, second, and third in Intermediate Home Economics and Commerce Groups were also honored with medals, cash prizes, and certificates. A total of 15 first-position holders received gold medals, a cash prize of Rs50,000, and certificates of appreciation. Second and third-place winners were awarded silver and bronze medals, along with cash prizes and certificates.
The ceremony aimed to recognize academic excellence and encourage students to continue pursuing higher achievements in education and other fields.
