Commissioner Chairs Executive Meeting Of Choa Saidan Shah Cadet College
Rawalpindi, August 20, 2026 (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) – Commissioner Rawalpindi, Salman Ghani, chaired the 19th executive committee meeting of Cadet College Choa Saidan Shah to review administrative, academic, and financial operations. He approved merit-based scholarships and infrastructure expansion for students.
Operational Affairs
The executive board was informed that student enrollment at the institution has increased from 340 to 550. Commissioner Ghani emphasized the need to upgrade boarding, dining, and academic facilities to accommodate the growing student body.
Scholarship and Budget Decisions
The committee decided to introduce merit-based scholarships for high-performing cadets, with transparent selection criteria. They also completed a budget evaluation for fiscal year 2026–27, prioritizing essential educational needs and fiscal transparency.
Institutional Leadership
Regarding institutional leadership, the meeting was informed that the process for appointing a new principal has been finalized based on merit guidelines. The panel will submit the recommended candidate to the Governor of Punjab for final approval, ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures.
