Commissioner Nauman Yousaf has reviewed arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and directed the district administration and relevant departments to ensure timely completion of all security, traffic, and civic preparations for the occasion.
He chaired a crucial meeting at Town Hall on Tuesday, attended by:
- Peace Committee Chairman Mufti Intikhab Alam
- Deputy Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Ijaz Tiwana
- CTO Lahore Syed Abdulrehim Shirazi
- SSP Operations Abdullah Ahmed
- District Administrative Officers and members of the District Peace Committee.

Processions: 71 major processions will be held across Lahore, with 19 on November 11th (11th Rabi-ul-Awwal) and 52 on November 12th (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal).

Security: 7,000 Lahore Police personnel will be deployed for security duties on November 12th.

Joint Plan: The administration and security agencies have finalized a joint plan for the event.

Support Services:
- 3,000 Civil Defence volunteers will support security along procession routes.
- Rescue 1122 ambulances and motorbikes will be on standby to respond to any emergencies.
Traffic & Parking:
CTO Lahore presented traffic route and parking plans, assuring that duties have been allocated for all processions and arrangements made to facilitate citizens and ensure smooth traffic flow.
