DC Qambar-Shahdadkot Reviews Security Arrangements for 12th Rabi-ul Awwal
LARKANA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 18, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Qambar Shahdadkot, Kamran Mushtaq Shaikh, held a meeting on Tuesday at the Darbar Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Qambar Shahdadkot, to finalize arrangements for the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal, the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH)).
The meeting was attended by:
- Officers from various departments under the district administration
- Esteemed scholars (ulema) from all schools of thought
- Officials from law enforcement agencies
On this occasion, the respected scholars representing different schools of thought presented their suggestions and concerns regarding the arrangements for the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal. These included:
- Avoiding power load-shedding
- Ensuring the provision of clean drinking water
- Arranging adequate lighting on roads and pathways
- Implementing robust security measures for close monitoring of gatherings and processions
- Establishing medical camps
Deputy Commissioner Qambar Shahdadkot Kamran Hussain Mushtaq issued the following directives:
- To SEPCO officials: No load-shedding across the district on the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal.
- To Rescue 1122 officials: Keep staff and necessary resources on standby.
- To the ADHO (Additional District Health Officer) Qambar: Ensure doctors and paramedical staff are present at all hospitals across the district on the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal.
- To officers of the Municipal and Town Committees: Ensure thorough cleanliness on roads and pathways, provision of clean drinking water, and proper lighting arrangements.
Furthermore, while issuing directives to police officers, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized:
- Foolproof security for all gatherings and processions across the district on the 12th of Rabi-ul Awwal.
- Establishment of control rooms in all tehsils regarding the 12th of Rabi ul Awwal to resolve issues immediately.
Finally, a special prayer was offered for the security, prosperity, and stability of the country and the nation.
