From Traffic Awareness To Counter-terrorism: ‘Friends Of Police’ Students Visit CTD Headquarters
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Sep, 2026) Male and female students participating in Islamabad Traffic Police’s “Friends of Police” programme on Tuesday visited the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Headquarters to learn about its different wings and working mechanism.
An official told APP that during the visit, senior superintendent of Police (SSP) CTD Saud Khan briefed the students on various sections of the Counter Terrorism Department and its overall functioning.
The students were given an overview of the department’s working and the roles performed by its different sections.
The visit was organised under the Friends of Police programme, which provides students an opportunity to learn about different areas of policing and the functioning of police departments.
