Horticulture Agency Lahore Provides 74,500 Free Plants to Citizens
LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Aug, 2026) The Horticulture Agency Lahore’s “Plants Free Home Delivery” campaign is successfully continuing across the provincial capital, with 74,500 plants provided free of cost to citizens during the ongoing monsoon season.
Campaign Details:
- Doorstep Delivery: Managing Director Ahmed Usman Javed said that under the “Plant for Pakistan” campaign, 32,000 citizens had received plants at their doorsteps through the agency’s free home-delivery service.
- Public Camps: He said another 42,500 plants had been distributed among citizens through camps established at key thoroughfares across Lahore.
Growing Involvement: Thousands of citizens have contacted the Horticulture Agency’s helpline 1399 to obtain free plants.
