Inauguration Of Rehabilitation & Development Works In Various UCs Of Gulistan-e-Johar

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab inaugurated rehabilitation and development works carried out in various Union Councils (UCs) of Gulistan-e-Johar on Wednesday.
Wahab stated that development works, including the installation of paver blocks, have been completed at a cost of Rs 145 million, covering an area of 271,000 square feet in different parts of the UCs. He emphasized KMC’s commitment to its manifesto and promises to citizens, aiming to provide basic civic facilities without discrimination across Karachi.
The Mayor highlighted that the paver blocks not only enhance road and street conditions but also facilitate citizen movement. He underscored the emphasis on quality and durability in project execution, ensuring long-lasting benefits for residents.
He noted KMC’s ongoing efforts to expand development works citywide, prioritizing areas needing basic civic facilities. The projects in Gulistan-e-Johar are part of this initiative, promising improved infrastructure for area residents.
Wahab expressed his dedication to fulfilling promises to the people and assured continuous practical measures for better infrastructure, a clean environment, and the provision of essential civic amenities.
