"Martinelli deserves better from Arsenal…" – Ian Wright raises concerns over the winger’s treatment and potential exit.

Ian Wright has expressed his concern over Gabriel Martinelli’s situation at Arsenal, suggesting the Brazilian winger deserves "more respect" from the club.
Martinelli made 53 appearances last season, contributing 11 goals as Arsenal won the Premier League title. However, he was left out of the squad for their opening match against Coventry and also missed the Community Shield win over Manchester City due to a potential exit.
Wright questioned Arsenal’s handling of the situation:
"The way Martinelli is being treated at the moment, it really makes me feel uncomfortable."
He further added:
"I know they might want him out… But there’s ways of doing that and it should suit him as well… Not being involved in the squad… he doesn’t know what’s going on."
Arsenal deny freezing Martinelli out, citing strength in depth with new signing Christos Tzolis impressing in his position. The club also failed to sign Vinicius Jr., another left winger, who agreed a new contract with Real Madrid.
Wright concluded by expressing sadness for Martinelli: "For him to be nowhere near [the starting lineup], it just makes me feel a bit sad for him."
