Minister Congratulates Newly Elected Office-bearers Of Photojournalists Association

ISLAMABAD (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) – Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi has congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Photojournalists Association on the unanimous election of all candidates of the Apna Panel.
The minister also extended his greetings to Sajjad Haider on his 22nd term as President of the association, emphasizing the crucial role photojournalists play in highlighting national, cultural, and historical activities.
All candidates from the Apna Panel were elected unopposed in the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Photojournalists Association’s annual elections. According to Election Commission Chairman Nasir Mir and member Aamir Lodhi, Sajjad Haider was elected President, with Jahangir Chaudhry as Senior Vice President, M. Javed and Mudassar Raja as Vice Presidents, Sohail Shehzad as General Secretary, Muhammad Asim as Finance Secretary, Faisal Khan as Joint Secretary, and Syed Mehdi as Information Secretary.
Habib Sheikh, Raja Khalid, Raja Zafar, Abid Zia, Tahir Kazmi, Raja Asim, and Umar Farooq were also elected unopposed to the Governing Body.
Aurangzeb Khan Khichi expressed his best wishes for the newly elected leaders, hoping they will continue working for the welfare of photojournalists, protecting their professional rights, and resolving their issues.
Sajjad Haider thanked his fellow photojournalists for their confidence and pledged to continue efforts for the betterment of the community.
