Ombudsman Regional Director Visits Tandojam School, Reviews Facilities
UrduPoint (August 20, 2026) – HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Aug, 2026) – On the special directives of Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Muhammad Suhail Ahmed Rajput (Sitara-i-Imtiaz), Regional Director Ombudsman Hyderabad, Syed Sajjad Haider Shah, paid a visit to Government Siraj-ul-Haq High School, Tandojam.
During his visit, the Regional Director inspected the school building, academic environment, administrative affairs, and basic facilities provided to students. He interacted with teachers and students in various classrooms to gauge the quality of education, teaching methods, and available resources.
According to a press release, the inspection revealed several concerns:
- The school lacked clean drinking water, and the bathrooms were in poor condition, failing to meet hygiene standards.
- There was an absence of proper sanitation facilities for students.
- Alternative power supply arrangements, such as solar systems or generators, were not available to address electricity outages.
Expressing serious dissatisfaction, the Regional Director emphasized that access to clean drinking water, hygienic bathrooms, and alternative electricity are fundamental requirements for any educational institution. He deemed it unacceptable to deprive students of these basic amenities.
The visit also revealed a low student attendance rate compared to enrollment. The Regional Director instructed the school administration to address these issues immediately by implementing practical solutions regarding drinking water, bathroom facilities, power arrangements, and academic improvements.
At the end of the visit, an awareness session was held with the Chief Headmaster, teachers, and staff. They were informed about the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh’s objectives, public complaint redressal procedures, and the online complaint registration system.
