Pakistan Ulema Council and Allied Organizations Advance National Paigham-e-Aman Committee’s Peace Agenda
Pakistan Ulema Council, allied organizations, and religious scholars across Pakistan united to promote peace, harmony, and tolerance through Friday sermons delivered on the appeal of the Pakistan Ulema Council and its allied organizations, in line with the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee’s objectives.
This nationwide initiative furthered the positive step towards:

- National Paigham-e-Aman Committee Coordinator and Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, alongside other religious scholars, led sermons at mosques nationwide.

- Non-Muslim citizens of Pakistan were recognized as integral to the national community, and their protection was deemed a shared responsibility.
- The scholars called for conveying the message of Rahmatul-lil-Alameen (Prophet Muhammad) through Mimbar (pulpit) and Mehrab (mosque architecture), promoting a balanced understanding of Islam and peaceful coexistence, especially among the younger generation.
- They condemned acts of extremism, sectarianism, and religious hatred, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to maintain peace and harmony.
