Punjab Orders 100% Physical Inspection Of Schools Before Reopening
Punjab School Education Department has ordered 100% physical inspection of all government schools across the province before their scheduled reopening on August 24, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the department, all District Monitoring Officers (DMOs) have been directed to ensure every government school undergoes an inspection prior to reopening. The inspection teams will assess:
- Cleanliness and sanitation arrangements
- Availability and condition of furniture, electrical equipment, clean drinking water, washrooms, and playgrounds
- Security arrangements, including CCTV camera functionality and anti-dengue measures
The department emphasizes the importance of completing all necessary arrangements before schools reopen to provide students and teachers with a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment.
