Railways Upgrades Running Rooms for Guards and Loco Pilots in Khanewal

Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, has taken another significant step towards enhancing facilities for Pakistan Railways’ frontline staff. This follows the successful completion of the upgradation of guards running rooms and loco pilots running rooms in Khanewal.
This development marks the first-ever comprehensive modernization of running rooms in the 79-year history of Pakistan Railways, providing guards and loco pilots with modern, comfortable, and improved facilities. The initiative reflects the special attention of Hanif Abbasi, who prioritizes the welfare and better working conditions of railway employees.
The upgraded running rooms in Khanewal boast improved facilities, ensuring a comfortable environment for railway employees during their rest periods. The formal inauguration ceremony is scheduled for August 22.
