Service Chiefs, Armed Forces Commemorate 55th Shahadat Anniversary Of Rashid Minhas
The Armed Forces of Pakistan, led by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir (COAS and CDF), Admiral Naveed Ashraf (CNS), and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu (CAS), solemnly commemorate the 55th anniversary of Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed’s (Nishan-e-Haider) Shahadat. On August 20, 1971, Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas demonstrated exceptional courage and unwavering dedication while facing an extraordinary challenge. His ultimate sacrifice became a symbol of Pakistan’s sovereignty and honor. As stated by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), his legacy continues to inspire the nation with its timeless message of bravery, loyalty, commitment, and devotion to duty.
