TBHF Launches Campaign To Support 3,000 Students In Gaza, Egypt (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM)
The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) has initiated its 2026 Back to School Campaign to aid 3,000 students in Gaza, Egypt, and Sharjah by providing essential school supplies and educational assistance.
The Campaign’s Aims:
- Alleviate financial burdens on students facing hardship, conflict, or displacement.
- Supply school bags and crucial learning materials to students in need.
- Fund tuition for students at the Big Heart Educational Centre in Sharjah.
Key Supporters:
- Fares Al Shahm is facilitating the delivery of school supplies to Gaza.
- Air Arabia is contributing to shipments bound for Egypt.
- City Centre Al Zahia, a Majid Al Futtaim property, offers space for a four-day volunteering activation in Sharjah.
How You Can Help:
- Donate: A contribution of AED200 provides a student with a complete school bag and learning supplies. AED500 covers one month of tuition at the Big Heart Educational Centre, while AED7,000 funds an academic year of education for a student.
- Pack School Bags: From August 20th to 23rd, individuals, families, and organizations can participate in a school bag packing event at City Centre Al Zahia (10:00 – 23:00). Volunteers will assemble notebooks, stationery, and other learning materials.
Impact:
- Gaza: Supplies will directly support students whose education has been interrupted by conflict.
- Egypt: Students will receive complete school bags to start the academic year prepared.
- Sharjah: Donations will benefit students enrolled at the Big Heart Educational Centre, offering educational and vocational pathways for children from low-income families.
Mariam Al Hammadi, Advisory Board Member of TBHF, emphasized:
