Three Nomad Women Killed In Rival Firing
FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 20, 2026) Three nomad women, including a minor girl, were killed, while another minor girl sustained serious bullet injuries in an alleged incident of rival firing within the jurisdiction of Airport Police Station here on Thursday.
According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, some armed men attacked the residences of nomad families in Chak No. 25-RB, Abbas Pur Road, and allegedly opened indiscriminate fire to avenge an old rivalry. As a result, 55-year-old Zubaida Bibi, 35-year-old Aasima, and 8-year-old Maskan sustained bullet injuries and died on the spot. Meanwhile, Rescue 1122 personnel shifted 3-year-old Zainab to General Hospital Samanabad in critical condition.
The rescue officials handed over the bodies to the area police, who launched an investigation to arrest the assailants. The attackers managed to escape from the scene after the firing.
