UAE Condemns Israeli Raids On Military Airbase In Idlib, Reaffirms Rejection Of Any Infringement On Syria’s Sovereignty

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has condemned in the strongest terms the recent Israeli raids on Abu al-Duhur Military Airbase in Idlib Governorate within the Syrian Arab Republic. The UAE reiterated its categorical rejection of any infringement upon Syria’s sovereignty or threats to its security and stability.

In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), it was emphasized that Israel’s continued attacks on Syrian territory constitute a violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Syria and Israel, which Israel is legally obligated to uphold.

The UAE stands firm in its support for Syria’s stability and territorial integrity, expressing solidarity with the Syrian people. It also voiced backing for all efforts aimed at fulfilling their aspirations for security, peace, dignity, and peaceful coexistence.

The country called upon the international community to take immediate action to halt the repeated attacks on Syrian territory and prevent any escalation or actions that could heighten regional tensions, threatening peace and security globally.
