15 Marlas Of Encroached Land Worth Rs 25 Million Recovered In Abbottabad

Abbottabad, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd Aug, 2026) The district administration has intensified its operation against encroachments in Mirpur on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Saleem Akram, recovering 15 marlas of government land worth an estimated Rs 25 million.

The operation was conducted for the second consecutive day at Kala Pul Nullah in Mirpur-I under the supervision of Additional Assistant Commissioner Kamran Ali Shah.

According to the district administration, encroachments built over Khasra Nos. 3708, 3649 and 3662 were removed and 15 marlas of non-permissible nullah land was retrieved. The recovered land would help restore the natural course of the nullah and facilitate the smooth flow of rainwater, reducing the risk of water accumulation during heavy rainfall.

The district administration stated that the anti-encroachment operation would continue and further action would be taken to retrieve illegally occupied government land.
