DPO Chiniot Visits Ailing Police Personnel, Announces Welfare Support
CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Aug, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Chiniot, Dr. Naveed Atif, visited ailing police personnel in line with the vision of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Karim, for the welfare of police staff.
He visited Lady Constable Sana Jahangir in the area of Langrana Police Station and Constable Muhammad Arif in the area of Bhawana Police Station. During these visits:
- The DPO presented bouquets of flowers to the injured and sick personnel.
- He inquired about their well-being and treatment.
- The DPO presented cheques for financial assistance to the police personnel and met their relatives.
Dr. Naveed Atif assured the families of all possible cooperation from Chiniot Police for treatment and prayed for the health and safety of the personnel. He issued instructions to concerned officers regarding the medical treatment and welfare of the police staff.
Speaking on the occasion, the DPO said, “Under the vision of IG Punjab Abdul Karim, all possible steps are being taken for the welfare and health of police personnel. The well-being of police personnel remains a top priority for the department.”
