Kohat Police Ababil Squad Arrests Four Suspects, Seizes Weapons Ammunition

(APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Aug, 2026) In a major crackdown against criminal elements, the Kohat Police Ababil Squad arrested four suspects and recovered a cache of illegal arms and ammunition.
Acting on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal, the Ababil Squad, under the supervision of In-charge Khubaib Qureshi, conducted a successful operation leading to the arrest of Muhammad Nauman, resident of Jangarkhel, Zainullah, Hafiz-ur-Rehman, resident of Mohammadzai and Noor Jan, resident of Hangu district.
During the operation, police recovered four pistols, seven chargers, and 104 rounds of ammunition from the possession of the accused. The recovered arms and ammunition, along with the suspects, were handed over to the concerned police stations for further legal proceedings.
Police officials reaffirmed that operations against criminal networks would continue without discrimination to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
