Korean Delegation Visits GTVC Dargai and GATTC Malakand

A delegation from the Korea Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) recently visited the Government Technical Vocational Centre (GTVC) Dargai and the Government Advanced Technical Training Centre (GATTC) Malakand to assess their facilities.

The primary objective of the visit was to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the training centres’ infrastructure, workshops, modern equipment, and machinery, with a special focus on the skilled individuals and trainees specializing in welding. This assessment aims to provide selected candidates with international-standard training in relevant technical fields, including welding, along with Korean language education, thereby enhancing their employment prospects in South Korea.

During their inspection, the delegation thoroughly examined the various workshops, training facilities, machinery, and equipment at both institutions. They also reviewed the training standards, available resources, and measures in place to equip youth with modern technical skills.

Upon completion of the assessment, the program is set to be launched at GTVC Dargai and GATTC Malakand.

This visit underscores the importance of fostering international collaborations to revolutionize technical education and employment opportunities for the youth.
