MD Suthra Punjab Conducts Surprise Visit To Rural Areas Of Attock
MD Suthra Punjab conducted a surprise visit to various rural areas of the district and inspected the performance and attendance of sanitation workers. During the visit, Anil reviewed cleanliness arrangements at different locations and obtained details of work from the staff. He also inspected the TCP (Waste Collection Point) and reviewed the arrangements there.
In view of the ongoing rains and possible flood situation, he directed the concerned staff to pay special attention to the cleaning of drains and drainage arrangements for timely response to any emergency. The MD issued special directives to make the area “zero waste,” stressing that garbage heaps should not be visible anywhere. He warned that negligence in duties would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against any worker or officer found negligent.
Anil said, "In line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the entire district will be developed as a model clean and green district, ensuring provision of a clean environment to citizens."
