PCNF Held Drug Supplier in Murree Crackdown, Over 1kg Drugs Seized

UrduPoint (August 17, 2026) – The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (PCNF)‘s Narcotics Control Station in Murree has arrested a suspected drug dealer and seized over 1kg of hashish and 50 grammes of ice (crystal methamphetamine) during a crackdown on drug trafficking.

According to an official statement from the Department of Public Relations, Punjab Division, Rawalpind, the PCNF apprehended one suspect involved in drug smuggling. Official sources confirmed the recovery of 1,052 grammes of hashish and 50 grammes of ice from the suspect.

A case has been registered against him, and further investigation is underway.

Colonel (retired) Murad Ali Khan, Director of PCNF Murree, emphasized the force’s commitment to a "zero-tolerance policy" against drug dealers. He assured that they would not tolerate any activities that endanger citizens’ lives and health through drug trafficking. He also urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement by reporting suspected drug-related activities through the helpline 1012.
