Pakistan: PML-N’s Shumaila Rana Commits to Implementing Supreme Court Verdict

Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shumaila Rana has expressed her party’s unwavering commitment to upholding the recent Supreme Court verdict, emphasizing their long-standing belief in the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law.
Speaking to the media, Rana stated:
“The court has delivered its verdict. The PML-N and our government have always revered the Constitution and the law. Given the honorable court’s decision, it will be implemented in full.”
She further highlighted the PML-N’s consistent respect for judicial authority, noting that they neither resist nor challenge court decisions.
"We abide by the law," she affirmed.
Rana illustrated her point with a practical example:
"If someone is in need of medical treatment abroad, as per the court’s order, we will facilitate that transfer."
Emphasizing the importance of legal adherence, she declared, "No one is above the law and the Constitution. We are bound by its provisions."
