Rawalpindi Police Review Security Arrangements for 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal Processions

Rawalpindi Police held a meeting with members of the Milad Committee on Thursday to review security and traffic arrangements for 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal processions. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam and Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal Babar Bakht Gondal met with committee members at the SDPO City office.

Attending the meeting were the SDPO City, DSP Traffic, SHO City, members of the Peace Committee, and religious scholars.

SP Rawal Babar Bakht Gondal emphasized that maintaining law and order is the top priority and assured that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure peace and security. He also called for stakeholders’ cooperation to ensure a peaceful observance of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.

The scholars expressed hope in comprehensive arrangements for the processions, while participants sought adequate security for their respective Milad ceremonies. All agreed to maintain a peaceful environment in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs) with police and the Peace Committee’s cooperation.
